Blog Post #6: Selecting Your Wedding Party

This is one of the most exciting things you get to do as a bride and groom! Selecting the people closest to you that will stand up and help you celebrate your special day can really make or break your entire wedding. It is important to select a person the be your best man or maid of honor that will take their wedding responsibilities seriously. The maid of honor will be in charge of planning the bride's bachelorette party and helping plan her wedding shower. The best man will help plan the groom's bachelor party. These two are also responsible for several other things as listed below. It is also important to choose people who are closest to you both. Be sure to choose well!

• Pre Wedding duties

• Dressing the Groomsmen/Bridesmaids

• Throwing the bachelorette/bachelor parties

• Attend the Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner the night before the wedding

• Duties on the Wedding Day

• Keeping the Bridesmaids/Bride and Groomsmen/Groom on Schedule...

• Best Man-Holding the Wedding Rings

• Serve as witnesses to make the marriage official and sign the marriage certificate
