You will want to capture all those special moments from your wedding day, not only as photographs, but with a video compilation that you can look back on for years to come. You will find there are all price ranges for videographers and there will be one that will suit your budget and wedding style, but you may have to look for awhile to find them. Once again, word of mouth is your best bet in securing the right person to film your wedding.. Meeting with the videographer is not as critical as it is when hiring a photographer, as they will pretty much be in the background following the photographer and the bride and groom around, capturing live footage of the many fun memories you will have that day. Once you choose a videographer, you can send him/her any video footage of other wedding videos that you like. Most videographers will welcome the ideas. They will usually have examples of their own work on their website as well. You will more than likely need to put down half the amount to hold your date, and the remainder will be due the day of the wedding. The videographer will usually produce a 3-5 minute compilation of your day and will have it completed for you in a month or two, depending on how busy they are. Most wedding videographers will also supply you with raw footage of the entire ceremony and will include this in whatever package you choose.
